Potential2Achieve sponsor CyclingTrio to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

Graham Jackson, Director of Potential2Achieve, and two friends (Graham Reeve and Shane Taylor) are taking on an incredible challenge. They are cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. They will start riding on 4 July at Lands End and aim to finish the 920 mile journey to John O’Groats in 11 days.

The inspiration for undertaking the ride has been the fantastic work done at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Four years ago the surgeons there removed a tumour the size of a tennis ball from the heart of Graham Reeve’s daughter Beth. At the time it was clear that if untreated Beth only had days to live. Now that she is well again the three friends wish to repay GOSH by raising money to help more children be returned to their loved ones.

The trio have been busy training for the ride and nurturing the inevitable injuries sustained along the way. At the same time they have been sorting out the logistics of route planning, accommodation booking, and support vehicle preparation as well as preparing the bikes and raising sponsorship.

Potential2Achieve are proud to be making a contribution as sponsors of the endeavour. Look out for the support vehicle bearing our logo as it travels the length of the Country. Follow the progress of the trio via their Blog and please support the great work done by Great Ormond Street by contributing via their JustGiving page.
